I don't really celebrate my birthday as anything huge, but since its kinda my "birthday" here's 2 lessons and 4 hopes of mine on this day <3
Lessons
1. Don't sacrifice my comfort for the sake of others.
I would find myself almost buffering my real thoughts, emotions, and even comebacks (bc they be coming for me hunny), in the name of not offending the fuck out of them. Then I thought, these people didn't give one flick about me when they were expressing their thoughts, why should they be spared? Although I don't care to add to someone's misery, I will definitely be vocal about whatever the heck I want to be vocal about because it's my truth and I will not be silenced for the sake of anyone's comfort.
2. Stay Focused
The Most High has given us all a mission, whether you know it or not. For a little minute I felt like I started to let outside factors distract me from achieving the blessings and destiny that the Most High has intended for me. I definitely had to reground myself in what matters most and keep pushing.
Hopes
1. I hope I continue to love.
2. I hope I continue to pray.
3. I hope I continue to inspire.
4. I hope I continue to discover.
