The "Sexiness" Makeup Tutorial!

LawkIT's First Makeup Tutorial!
Thought I'd give you guys a little look ;) Hope you enjoy!

Prime Time
On a CLEAN, MOISTURIZED face apply your primer for a smoother and longer lasting foundation application!

Here I'm using Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer.
Color Correcting
I battle with acne scarring (because I stay popping my pimples) and dark pigmentation under my eyes, around my nose, and around my mouth.

This is where color correcting saves the day! There are a few shades that help with every individual's personal concerns, but for my situation I use the Orange PRO. Conceal by L.A. Girl.

Set that shit!
A trick I learned was to set the corrector with powder so that it does it's job and doesn't smear in with the foundation.

I am lightly going over my corrected areas with Laura Mercier's Loose Setting Powder in TRANSLUCENT.

Foundation Time
One of my favourite steps! Why you ask? Because I'm using Fenty Beauty's Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in the shade #400.

The name of this foundation is exactly what you get! I have oily skin so I always go for matte finishes since I end up looking dewy by the end of the day anyways. I also prefer to use a damp beauty blender to give me a more airbrushed dewy look.

It's a buildable medium to full coverage foundation and definitely dries quickly, as you can see by the speed that I'm pounding my face at lol. Don't want to be streaky now. I just love how it feels like skin, like I literally forget that I'm wearing foundation when using this.

Fill & Conceal those Brows
I swear by Anastasia Beverly Hills' Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony. I've been using this same pod for like 2 years lol. I enjoy how it not only tints my eyebrows, but it's gel like consistency keeps my hairs laid with not a single budge.

This isn't my proudest brow moment but I usually...
1. brush my hairs upward with a spooly
2. outline the bottom of my brow and get the shape together
3. then fill my brows in with the pomade in small-like strokes
4. After I conceal with a concealer that is about 1-2 shades lighter than my complexion to really bring the brows out. Here I am using Fenty Beauty's Matte Match Stix in the color Latte.

Eye Time!
So I decided to do a simple eye look for you guys and to begin I primed my eyes with Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion in the color Caffeine. Priming your eyes definitely aids in keeping your eyeshadows looking fresh and creaseless. I also chose the color caffeine because I thought it would make a great base for many colors!

The eyeshadow pallete I chose for this look was Urban Decay's Naked Heat because the colors are flames. No pun intended...okay maybe a little.

1. I like to start with a crease color to just get the mood right and that color was Cayenne. I applied this in the shape of a "n" touching the inner and outer corners of my lid.
2. Dirty Talk was the winner for the center of the lid.
3. I then topped it all off with Ashes, following the same pattern as I did with cayenne.

Top & Bottom Eyeliner!
I don't know why, but at this stage I like to line my top and bottom lash lines. I do a thin line on top just in case I may add false lashes to the look.

I'm using a black eye pencil that I took from my mom and a $4 liquid liner from Walmart by the brand NYC that my gyal Kim Nicho put me on ;)

Conceal & Highlight!
I am using L.A. Girl's PRO. Conceal in the color Fawn to highlight and conceal the parts of my face that would reflect off the most light! A damp beauty blender definitely gets things situated.

Contour & Blend!
Now it's contouring time! This is when I go over the natural contours of my face and just enhance the depth by using a darker concealer such as Fenty Beauty's Matte Match Stix in Expresso. I also use the shade Truffle for a not so harsh contour of my nose. Don't forget to blend, blend, blend, or you'll be left with some seriously harsh lines.

I also forgot to set my under eyes after I highlighted, but I caught myself! Here I am using Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes.

Certified Wings!
The actual footage of me doing my liner for this look went mysteriously missing...so here I am crusty, showing you how I usually get it done :)

Pixie Dust & Finishing Touches
Pixie Dust is basically what I call the highlighting of your inner eye corner. It was a thing I claimed in high school and it's stuck with us ever since! Let those inner corners glow boo! I dabbled back into Urban Decay's Naked Heat pallete and used the color Lumbre.

I also used the same colors I used for my crease, Cayenne and Ashes, to balance on my lower lash line.

Blushing & Glowing!
Using the NARS Narsissist Unfiltered I Cheek Pallete I flush my cheeks with the color Out There.

I then top that off with an ultimate glow using Anastasia Beverly Hills' Sun Dipped Glow Kit in the color Bronzed. I kinda of highlight in the shape of a chicken foot touching my cheekbones, the brow bone, and right above the brow.

Mascara & Lips!
I generally would spray my face with Urban Decay's De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray here because I don't really like the idea of setting my mascara and lipstick down lol. Idk. Weird.
But let me just say...don't do that to your mascara. Pumping it in and out like that lets air enter making the formula dry up causing clumps lol. That being said, I used Maybelline's Lash Sensational Curvitude.

For the lip combination I used MAC's Smoked Purple to line my lips. I then went in to fill my lip with Tarte's Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Fortune. Last but never least, I glossed up my lips with Fenty Beauty's Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer!

Final Look!
Here's the final look!
