   Hey Keys, so my mom sent me this thread the other night and I just want to share it with you all! It read;

    "Sometimes, to succeed in life you need enemies. You need people who will mock you, so that you can run to God. You need people who will try to intimidate you, so that you can be courageous. You need people who will say "NO" so that you can learn how to do it yourself. You need people who will disappoint you so that you can put all your trust in God alone. But sometimes, when we are disappointed, we feel very bad and we tend to remain on that spot. Not knowing that the end-point of disappointment is the beginning of your accomplishments. You cannot see a new OPEN door while you are still putting all your attention, time and energy in trying to force the closed one to open."

     All this to say, everything truly happens for a reason and a season. Most times, when we're dealing with spiritual lessons, we don't see the purpose for it right away. In comparison to physical lessons, where if you hop a fence and scratch your leg, the lesson is pretty clear. That is because spiritual lessons aren't meant to be seen in the physical world but rather felt. Spiritual warfare is the most dangerous battle a soul can face. Physical wounds eventually heal, but being out of touch with your spirit is much more lethal than anything I can imagine. Instead of looking at situations like "Why me?" try to look at it from the perspective of "What is the Most High trying to tell me?"

     There are lessons in everything and you can legit learn from everyone, even the bad. I encourage you all today to let go of your expectations...no I didn't say standards...but expectations that fool you into believing that you control not only other people's actions but the divine plan of the Most High. Let go and let God!

Much love,

Kimberlee Brown Mighty
