How to Throw a LawkIT Party
Hey guys! So we recently threw a LawkIT networking and social event which ended up being a great time. Thank you to everyone who came out, especially our subscribers! Life.As.We.Know.IT believes in being alive and not just living, embracing life and living in the moment, and securing all things good in life. This is definitely something we plan to do more of in the future. If you want to turn up with us in the near future, subscribe below. Here are a few tips on how to throw a LawkIT party, enjoy!
1. Find a Lit Ass Place
Shoutout to Booking.com for having this beautiful spot available. It was a good size, on the ground floor, nice location, but the best part was that it was smoke permitted! These are some of the things you should be looking for when choosing your turnup locations :)
2. Guestlist
The guests of your party will really set the vibes of the night. The first guest in mind were our subscribers! It really takes a village, and we really wanted to let our supporters know that we see you, and we thank you! We also extended an invite to creators from different parts of the GTA such as photographers, designers, models, social influencers, and just cool ass people.
3. Get the snacks poppin
We know how it gets at a turnup. After all the shots, blunts in rotation, and dancing, the hunger gets real. Having snacks for people to munch on throughout the night really keeps the party going. Chips, cakes, candies, and cupcakes were all on LawkIT's menu for the night. And we can't forget the champagne upon arrival. Nothing says "living your best life" better than a glass of bubbly!
4. Slay the Host-Fits
First of all, a big s/o goes to @kaypasaa (instagram) one time for the LawkIT t-shirts! It really made it official ;) If you guys haven't noticed, or are new to our page, we have specific font colours (Racquel = Red; Kim = Blue) used to express our individual thoughts. This was the inspiration for our looks for the night!
5. Snapchat Filter
Snapchat filters are one of the hottest features that social media has to offer today! It was only right that we created one for our party. Having a filter that unifies your guests and captures the vibe of the party, will serve as a beautiful bonus.
6. Gift Bags
Last but not least, gift bags! How cute is it to go to a networking party and leave with a bag full of goodies? We know. It's lit! Our subscribers left with gift bags that featured an appreciation card from the creators of LawkIT, some candy goodies, gourmet macaroons, and a little mini of liquor.
