My Top 5 Marvel Characters

Hey Keys! In honour of Stan Lee's passing, I thought I would make this blog post. I am a fan of the Marvel universe and I know a lot of you out there are too, so here are my top 5 favorite Marvel characters :) Enjoy!

Jessica Jones

I love this chick for the fact that she does not give a fuck. Yes, she has a drinking problem, but I definitely understood her point of view the whole time I've watched her series. I love that her power is so discreet also, until she uses it. You would never expect such strength coming from this female. Speaking of female, I love that she is out here representing for the ladies and defying what it means to be feminine. Did I also mention shes a savage?

Luke Cage

I mean naturally...Luke has to be here. A bulletproof black man walking the streets of Harlem? Trying his best to protect his city and fight against the (in)justice system? I am in love! I also love him and Jessica Jones together, with their powers, they can definitely handle each other ;) I also just love the fact that he is a strong black man who doesn't succumb to all the stereotypes of what a "typical" black man in the hood should be.

Thor

In my opinion, him and Iron Man have been the funniest characters in the Marvel movie series. His powers also make him a kick-ass superhero. I admire that even when his brother was treating him like dirt, he still had hope that there was good in him. I would not have the same patience with my brother if he tried that. I feel he was also level-headed in his decision-making. He does not rush into a battle without a game plan.

Black Panther

WAKANDA FOREVER!!! This movie and character got me so hype for the culture it was unreal. I had to do this movie the honour of purchasing a Cineplex VIP movie ticket for it. I could relate to him on so many levels because I see his passion for his people and I was here for the dedication. I also really love that he has to do drugs and talk to the ancestors to gain his powers haha (but don't do drugs kids).

Mystique

I thought i'd switch up this last one with a villain. Again, another female boss-ass bitch with some cool super powers. Besides the ability to fly, her ability would have to be my next pick. I could transform myself into anyone? I would definitely start some shit just for fun and trip people out. I also just wanted to shout out Jennifer Lawrence for making this character come to life because you are stunning! Also loved that she low key had a conscious and would see the good in people every once in a while.
